We have all but concluded the Christmas season and now celebrating the Epiphany of Jesus (6th January). This is the time when the wonder and mystery of the baby born in Bethlehem become clear as to who this child is. Epiphany means, revealing, unveiling, disclosing, and this is precisely what we celebrate; Jesus the baby born in a stable is no less that God with us. We share glimpses of his infancy, childhood and now his Baptism as God’s beloved Son. Now, as Jesus shares our human life, he now grows us up into his glorious likeness, the fullness of our human selves. Soon, we will commence the season of Lent, commencing with Ash Wednesday, 10th February which will lead us through to Palm Sunday (20th March) Holy Week and Easter Day (27 March).
Grace and peace to you all.
